We have over 24 staff here at Fairfield. We employ cooks, domestics and our excellent care team.

All of our staff are recruited locally and are trained to deliver a high standard of care.

Most of the care staff are trained to NVQ level 2 or above. Where level 2 is not met yet, staff receive in house training and attend training courses which enables them to gain the NVQ qualification.

Anyone who handles medication is specifically trained in this area and holds the required certificated qualification.

Eight of the staff are trained to NVQ level 3 in palliative care, and with excellent support from the local surgeries and the district nursing teams, our residents can rest assured that all of their needs can be met.
